Unique New Ergonomic Device Gives Support To Workers Who Must Lean Forward
(Leesport, PA) --- An innovative new device provides upper body support for workers in leaning positions, relieving strain on the back and legs and improving productivity.
The new Lean-On-Me™ was developed by Safeguard Technologies, division of Fisher Scientific, specifically for workers who must lean forward over extended periods of time. The spring-enhanced device screw-clamps quickly to work tables and benches (up to 2" in thickness) and the worker rests against the chest/abdomen support. By stabilizing the worker, the Lean-On-Me™ reduces the effort of the legs and lower back muscles, substantially reducing fatigue.
Easily adjusted for height, the Lean-On-Me™ does not interfere with worker vision and actually promotes hand steadiness, further increasing employee productivity in close tolerance work.

The Lean-On-Me™ is the only product of its type, and is an ideal ergonomic aid for assembly lines and laboratories in job tasks such as pipetting, sorting, quality inspection, food processing, and many others.
Safeguard technologies has developed many products for the prevention and rehabilitation of cumulative trauma injuries, including their Air Belt®, the unique inflatable lumbar support belt.
